Biographical Summary for
Ray McCalment, Ed.D.
President
Contact Ray at: rmccalment@aol.com

Dr. McCalment has extensive teaching, administrative, and curriculum development experience. His students have ranged from high risk, economically disadvantaged to educational professionals. His curriculum development includes program planning, curriculum design and selection, and evaluation. His teaching experience ranges from junior high school science to vocational/technical topics including radio communication and liquid rocket technology for space launch vehicles.

Ray's formal education culminated with a doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education from Oklahoma State University. His master's from Pittsburg State was in science and education. His bachelor's was in health education from the University of Arkansas. But perhaps the most significant education was self-directed in brain research and educational psychology.

Ray has shared his practical and theoretical backgrounds with thousands of people, including sessions at national and international conferences. His interest in psychology and brain research is pragmatic: "What have we learned that works and how can we apply it?" His light-hearted yet scientifically based curricula provide practical and "do-able" approaches to education. He demontrates conclusively why and how students' attitudes can be changed -- for the good -- by academic, vocational, or life skills teachers.

Biographical Summary for
Diana D. McCalment, M.S.
Chief Operating Officer
Contacat Diana at: dmccalment@aol.com

Diana McCalment has been an adult educator since 1979. She served as an administrator for adult education programs, developed curriculum, and conducted training workshops for not-for-profit agencies, public schools, colleges, professional organizations and industry. She has presented information to a wide range of individuals from front line workers to upper management and from at-risk high school youth to educational professionals seeking continuing education.

Prior to her work in adult education, Diana spent eleven years as a special education classroom teacher. This has been a natural accompaniment to her later work with at-risk juvenile and adult students. Her experiences with both groups have given her insight and practical first-hand knowledge. This expertise allows her to integrate both the practical and theoretical aspects of educational curriculum development, needs assessment, and evaluation.

Diana received her Master's Degree in Occupational and Adult Education from Oklahoma State University in 1989. Her area of specialty was human resource development. Her undergraduate degrees were from Ohio State University in Elementary and Special Education. She has completed additional course work at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and at the University of Minnesota.
